Felicia Evans Long was the guest speaker at the first Annual Homecoming Celebration for the University of Phoenix in Columbia, Maryland on October 23, 2008. Over a hundred graduates attended this event. The Sweet Events and Planning staff provided special sweet goodies to all the graduates who attended.

Felicia Evans Long, a "Suited for Change" active board member gave the address speech for
the 16th Anniversary Celebration and Auction for the
non-profit organization on May 15, 2008. Felicia was introduced to the Suited for Change supporters by channel 7 news anchor Alison Starling, WJLA journalist who was also the Emcee for the evening.
